Anatoli tells his side of the story of the 1996 climbing season on Mt Everest - where several people died - as described in Jon Krakauer's Into Thin Air. His version is a bit different to Jon's and we learn that he (Anatoli) is a great mountaineer and rescued several climbers from certain death. But his English is not so good.

Very interesting.
