![]() | The Language of Kindness | Christie's autobiographical account of her time in the nursing profession in the UK, together with her philosophy of what makes a great nurse. | Excellent, some really moving passages, about life (and death) and what it means to be a good nurse, and how the healthcare system has so many difficult issues, and humanity is broadly wonderful (but death is inevitable). Lots of good gruesome anecdotes too of course. |

![]() | Moral Injuries | Three friends, who went through medical school together, have to sort out some problems when somebody dies at a party that some of their teenage children attended. Also something similar happened to them when they were students. | OK, a bit blah blah blah. Characters all a bit meh. Plot not very believable. |
