![]() | Unreliable Memoirs | Clive James' autobiography from birth to when he left Australia to come to England. | Not bad, although not as funny as the reviews all made out, but it made me smile a couple of times, particularly the National Service (nasho) scene where the dim soldier doing grenade practice pulled the pin and then passed the grenade to the sergeant instructor. Larissa's book, pinched from her bedroom, and I accidentally left it on the plane in Bangkok. Oops. |
