 | An American Wife | Woman grows up in middle class mid-west family, accidentally kills her boyfriend in a car crash, becomes school librarian, but then marries into rich southern family, and spends a bit of time agonising a bit over the unfairness of poverty vs wealth, but then carries on enjoying her wealth. Oh and then her husband becomes President (Republican), while she reckons she's a Democrat. Supposedly based on life of Laura Bush. | Hmmm. Bit dull really, just a list of things that happened, no amazing insights into anything much at all. Nice easy read though. |
