Books - Review

A team of women is sent into Area X to investigate weird stuff going on. They find a deep shaft in the ground and explore, but discover weird stuff. Is it a plant? An animal? An alien? And does it matter if you inhale the spores that it ejects? (Spoiler alert - yes it does) Also, they are all hypnotised, some of them die, and nobody trusts anyone. And what of previous missions?

Bit odd. Two more in the series to read, or I could just watch the movie. Or not bother.
