 | Music and Silence | Peter Clair, good looking lutenist goes to join the King of Denmark's orchestra, where, despite having to play from the cellars of the castle, he attracts the attention of the King who has many problems; his wife, who for some reason he still loves, is cuckolding him, his treasury is empty, and all his plans to revive Denmark's fortunes come to grief. Meanwhile Peter falls in love with the King's wife's new lady-in-waiting, but that all gets a bit complicated too when the King finally kicks out his wife for shagging around too much.
